I had started this quilt wanting to do a circle quilt with fabric that I had dyed. I wanted to make some of the circles being convergence circles. By the time I started assembling this we were in lock down. It turned into my Social Distancing quilt. If our family pods stayed away from others, all would be smooth. If they did not, the quilting around them got messy. The circles were pieced, then appliquéd on. The backing is also a hand dye. I felt that this quilt needed a facing, not a binding.
